eslite Bookstore, founded in Taiwan in 1989, has become a classic brand of Taiwanese cultural creativity — selling not just books and creativity, but a way of life. In 2007, eslite Music’s Dunnan branch organised the first “Vinyl Renaissance Movement,” an event that, alongside a vinyl record fair, included album cover design exhibitions, personal collection showcases by musicians and cultural figures, displays and trade of turntables and related equipment — a comprehensive one-stop event covering both hardware and software. The event continues to be held annually as of 2017.
