The “Shengjiao: Cross-Strait Sound Art Exchange Grand Concert,” a ticketed performance at THE WALL in 2006, featured consecutive performances by Taiwanese and Chinese sound artists including Tsai Hsin-yuan, Hsieh Chung-chi, Li-wei, the Treacherous Pisceans (Yan Jun + Yao Ta-chün), and Yan Jun. Yan Jun — artist, critic, poet, and sound artist — that same month also conducted workshops, lectures, and performances at Taipei National University of the Arts, National Chengchi University, Treasure Hill, and Kaohsiung’s Bean Pea Arts Café.
