BigSound (*BIGSOUND Magazine*) was a free music culture journal founded in 2005 by a group of music culture researchers, media activists, and music workers. It championed an uncompromising, principled stance while providing music, image, arts, and subcultural information close to the pulse of trends.
Contributing editors and co-authors included Wu Yi-chun (editor-in-chief), Ho Tung-hung, Chang Tieh-chih, Chang Shih-lun, Lin Yu-peng, Lee Yi-hui, Fu Chien-wen, Cheng Kai-tung, Lee Ming-tsung, Chen Chia-chi, Chen Hsiao-yi, Yeh Wan-ching, and Tai Hsing-fang — arguably the largest print media collective action among Taiwanese popular music culture workers in the first decade of the twenty-first century.
By 2007, BigSound had published 15 issues.
