1993

90年代校園裡的一群學生在跨校圖書會與報社結識，相繼創辦了報紙《甜蜜蜜》、《台大學生報》副刊《甜蜜蜜的午後》，隨後吳中煒在1993年開了甜蜜蜜咖啡。 In the 1990s, a group of students met across campuses through inter-university reading clubs and newspapers, co-founding publications including the newspaper Sweetness, and the NTU Student Newspaper supplement Sweetness Afternoons. Wu Chung-wei followed by opening Sweetness Café in 1993.

1994

破爛生活節 Broken Life Festival

台北破爛生活節起於延續甜蜜蜜咖啡屋的精神，於1994年9月2-5日選在台北永福橋下舉辦，活動集合了噪音、搖滾、小劇場、SM、裝置藝術、實驗短片等。 The Taipei Broken Life Festival grew out of the spirit of Sweetness Café. Held September 2–5, 1994 under Yongfu Bridge in Taipei, it brought together noise, rock, small theatre, SM performance, installation art, and experimental short film.

1995

空中破裂節 Sky Rupture Festival

台北空中破裂節由吳中煒及一群參與者籌畫，是一個揉合環境雕塑、偶發、噪音、垃圾藝術的大雜燴，也可被視為一個歷時月餘的烏托邦聚落。 The Taipei Sky Rupture Festival, organized by Wu Chung-wei and a group of participants, was a sprawling mash-up of environmental sculpture, happenings, noise, and junk art — also legible as a month-long utopian commune.

後工業藝術祭 Post-Industrial Art Festival

1995年吳中煒、林其蔚、蔣慧仙、林中杰等人在板橋廢酒廠舉辦了為期三天的大規模戶外演出「後工業藝術祭」，邀請各國的噪音、實驗音樂、驚悚劇場團體演出，種種極端行為彷彿是受戒嚴壓抑多年後的一次爆發。 In 1995, Wu Chung-wei, Lin Chi-wei, Chiang Hui-hsien, Lin Chung-chieh, and others organized a three-day large-scale outdoor event at an abandoned distillery in Banqiao — inviting noise, experimental music, and horror theatre groups from various countries. 吳中煒成立龜山工廠 Wu Chung-wei Establishes Guishan Factory

吳中煒、林其蔚、馬惠中等人於永福橋頭舉辦「破爛藝術節」策動自發性跨領域展演後，隨後即成立都市的異次元空間「龜山工廠」，是解嚴後令人驚異的一股力量。 After Wu Chung-wei, Lin Chi-wei, Ma Hui-chung, and others organized the 'Broken Art Festival' at Yongfu Bridge, they established the alternative urban space 'Guishan Factory' — a remarkable force in post-martial law Taiwan.

寶藏巖整修，藝術家抗爭 Artists Protest Renovation of Treasure Hill Settlement
