Taipei Digital Arts Centre has been operated by the Digital Art Foundation since 2009. The foundation is composed of representative organisations that have long been dedicated to digital and technology art — largely the same team as the grassroots organisation ET@T (such as Huang Wen-hao and Chang Tzu-fu), continuing the development trajectory and accumulated expertise of the past. The centre conducts activities in research and development, exhibition, performance, international digital arts festivals, and public education. It is one of the few arts institutions in Taiwan established with digital art as its founding mission. The centre’s “*Noise Magazine* Café,” programmed by Wang Chung-kun, is also one of the primary performance venues for Lacking Sound Festival and other sound art performances.
