Wang Fu-jui is director of the Future Sound Lab at the Center of Art and Technology (CAT), Taipei National University of the Arts. For more than a decade he has been dedicated to the creation and promotion of sound art and digital art.
In 1993 he established “*Noise Magazine*” — Taiwan’s first experimental music label and publication. In 2000 he joined ET@T (Etat), one of the few groups in Taiwan’s media art development to conduct experiments, practice, and inquiry in digital art through a collective laboratory model, and one of the earliest groups to specialize in real-time interactive creation. He drove the “Bias” sound art exhibition series and the Sound Art category of the Taipei Digital Art Award, developing sound art into a distinctive domain within Taiwan’s digital art landscape.
