To mark its tenth anniversary, Wild Stage Rock (野台開唱) established a dedicated “Independent Electronic Stage,” programmed and coordinated by the Taiwan independent electronic music label “Murky Records.” Invitees included Hanayo (半野喜弘), Huang Ta-wang (at the time known as “Black Wolf”), Tsai An-chih, Lin Chiang, fish, Meteorologist, Punkcan, and others working in the space between experimental music, noise, and sound art. The event was the largest-ever convergence of experimental sound at a rock music festival.
