1965

1965年1月1日《劇場》在台北創刊，是一份以當代前衛電影與戲劇為主的刊物，譯介西方當代主要戲劇和電影潮流，大量評介現代主義戲劇作品，偶有台灣本地藝文動態報導，共出刊9期。 Theatre magazine launched in Taipei on January 1, 1965, dedicated to contemporary avant-garde film and drama. It translated and introduced major Western theatrical and cinematic currents, featured substantial criticism of modernist drama, and occasionally reported on local arts events. It ran for nine issues.

《等待果陀》公演 Waiting for Godot Premieres in Taiwan

1965年9月3日與4日這兩天，位於台北市羅斯福路三段的耕莘文教院，貝克特（Samuel Beckett, 1906-1989）的劇作《等待果陀》被翻譯成中文，首次在台灣上演。 On September 3 and 4, 1965, Samuel Beckett's Waiting for Godot was performed in Chinese translation for the first time in Taiwan, at the Kuangchi Program Service in Taipei's Roosevelt Road, Section 3.

白虎社來台演出引起震撼 Japanese Butoh Troupe Byakkosha Causes a Sensation in Taiwan

1986年日本舞踏的「白虎社」來台表演造成轟動，報章雜誌開始引介舞踏及鈴木忠志等有關日本身體訓練的脈絡，身體作為一個劇場美學的概念才慢慢出來。 In 1986, the Japanese butoh group Byakkosha performed in Taiwan to great impact. Press coverage introduced butoh and the work of Tadashi Suzuki on Japanese physical training methodologies — gradually bringing the body as a concept in theatrical aesthetics into Taiwanese consciousness.

身體氣象館成立 Body Weather Laboratory Founded

身體氣象館，台灣非營利跨文化交流之先驅藝術團體。於1991年由台灣小劇場先驅人物王墨林所組成，顧名思義，旨在探索身體表現的各種可能性。 Body Weather Laboratory is Taiwan's pioneering non-profit intercultural arts organization. Founded in 1991 by small theatre pioneer Wang Mo-lin, it is dedicated, as its name suggests, to exploring the full range of possibilities in bodily expression.

1992

濁水溪公社於台大視聽小劇場公演 Chthonic / Zordan’s River Commune Performs at NTU Audio-Visual Theatre

1992年台大爆發轟動全國的「盜墓事件」八名學生遭退學處分，包括濁水溪公社的左派和小柯，這年濁水溪公社便在視聽小劇場舉辦告別校園演唱會。 In 1992, NTU was rocked by the nationally infamous 'tomb-raiding incident,' which led to eight students being expelled — including Zordan's River Commune members Zuopai and Xiao Ke. That year, the band held a farewell-to-campus concert at the Audio-Visual Theatre.

「甜蜜蜜」咖啡館成立 Sweetness Café Founded

90年代校園裡的一群學生在跨校圖書會與報社結識，相繼創辦了報紙《甜蜜蜜》、《台大學生報》副刊《甜蜜蜜的午後》，隨後吳中煒在1993年開了甜蜜蜜咖啡。 In the 1990s, a group of students met across campuses through inter-university reading clubs and newspapers, co-founding publications including the newspaper Sweetness, and the NTU Student Newspaper supplement Sweetness Afternoons. Wu Chung-wei followed by opening Sweetness Café in 1993.

1995

後工業藝術祭 Post-Industrial Art Festival

1995年吳中煒、林其蔚、蔣慧仙、林中杰等人在板橋廢酒廠舉辦了為期三天的大規模戶外演出「後工業藝術祭」，邀請各國的噪音、實驗音樂、驚悚劇場團體演出，種種極端行為彷彿是受戒嚴壓抑多年後的一次爆發。 In 1995, Wu Chung-wei, Lin Chi-wei, Chiang Hui-hsien, Lin Chung-chieh, and others organized a three-day large-scale outdoor event at an abandoned distillery in Banqiao — inviting noise, experimental music, and horror theatre groups from various countries. 「軍史館殺人事件」公演 Murder at the Military History Museum Performed

改編自真實事件的「軍史館殺人事件」，於2004年由差異劇團主演，王墨林擔任導演，劇場設計由藝術家陳界仁操刀，聲音設計則由林其蔚擔任，現場收音並製造「噪音」回應這樁「軍史館殺人事件」 Adapted from real events, Murder at the Military History Museum was staged in 2004 by Chaiyi Theatre, directed by Wang Mo-lin, with stage design by artist Chen Chieh-jen and sound design by Lin Chi-wei — recording live sound and generating 'noise' in response to the murder case.
